Thats pre-decimalisation though so £1.50 would exist as an amount

Pounds, shillings and pennys.

It was just after the war though.. Rationing was still going on and inflation was insane so fuel would be mega expensive too! I would imagine only the rich could afford to drive.

just asked my boss who is into his old cars in a big way. he says the old discs aren't really worth much. afew quid at best. it might be worth it to the owner if the car is still about though mind. thats just what he's said though, so don't take my word for it

they love abit of history about their old cars it seems
