Does a viper cold air induction actually work on a X14XE, was thinkin on buyin 1 but not sure if its goin 2 make a difference.

What do you mean "work"?
It will make it louder and maybe give you 1bhp extra.

Give them a awesome noise, and a little faster but nothing noticable. Worth it if you are getting one cheap second hand, but i would feel robbed paying £150-200 for a brand new one

I'd be spending that £200 on an inlet manifold. If you're getting it cheap then fair enough!

I got one for £40 second hand but found it to reduce acceleration but it does smooth out the flat spots. Ive run a cold air feed to it but have not used it as an enclosed kit.

But yeah £150-£300 on an inlet and youll be laughing
