got pulled the other night, they checked mine and the vehicles details over the radio insurance and the likes and obviously all legal and legit, tax mot and insurance. yet they still want me to produce insurance and mot cert at the plod office? is this to keep other useless plod in a job?

I wondered this also. Last time I got pulled I was glad I got a producer as it saved me getting a fine. They didn't know what else to do as I had a VDRS already in my wallet. All my details checked out at the roadside but the jobs worth wanted to check all the mods were declared. I'm 30 ffs. I just laughed while he waited on hold for 20 mins only to be told they are all listed.

Because the systems done update instantly, could come over airwaves you have insurance, but in actual fact you cancelled it few days ago fair to see how issuing producers keeps any of us in a job, hardly a lenghty piece of paperwork

Was it panda cops, they are completely and utterly useless, especially with motoring, they should stick to something they are good at, like ignoring real crime.
