Some of you may remember a discussion a while ago about whether there was such thing as a Mk4 Astra GSi Non Turbo. Well ive found one and imo i really like it, at first i thought it was a boggo model with snowflakes and Veccy GSi interior. But the interior looks genuine!

A bit over priced imo but i wouldnt mind it.

looks like an sri to me with a vec interior gsi wheels and some add ons on the bumpers

They did make early Astra GSi in the Mk4 shape, but that certainly isn't one of them.

They had normal SRi wheels and SRi interior and the X20XEV engine but just GSi badges, it was made at the start of production, I think there are like 50 of them in teh country.

its just an early gsi which was based on the sri model, pretty rare to find, how does the insurance compare to a gsi turbo?

Thats a genuine one then, just had the later GSi Turbo interior fitted along with the wheels.

according to the internal vauxhall site to check for recalls, its an SRi.

deffo looks like phase 1 vectra recaros, dunno what came in the car as standard i thought it would be the typical sri/sxi cloth interior, nice upgrade right enough

ITs not GSiT Recaro leather its the same as the Vectra GSi interior Recaro cloth. but with the astra being 3 door it has reclinable seats where as the vectra wouldnt, also the rear bench fits perfectly.

Comes up as an Astra GSi 16v on Autopart at work. But i think that goes off the vehivcle log book so if someone has changed it....

yeah it does, when i put my xe in the corsa it came up as a GSi 2.0 16V at our local motorfactors!

The astra ones recline though. The Vectra having 5 doors wouldnt have front seats that recline.?

It's a GSI

As OJC said, vauxhall made an early run of the Gsi with sri spec and x20xev engine,

Interior is the same as the sri turbo's
