Finally got shot of the GTI for this:

Needs beaten with the lowering stick, type-r badges removed, then leave it how it is.

Loads of toys, electric everything, cruise control, climate control, heated leathers etc.

Nice and comfortable, bit slow but ive got the XSI for thrills.

As said, not a Type-R, last owner seemed determined to cover it in Type-R badges though.

Straight swap for my GTI.

Will be getting lowered soon, not wanting to shell out on new springs though, might wait and find used ones.

I've got a set of standard type r ones if your not wanting to go too low? Postage plus a tenner and you can have them.

Was looking to go a touch lower than the Type-r, got my mind set on -30mm eibachs.

I put 30mm eibachs on mine and it went 10mm lower at the back and was the same at the front..

Wished I'd left the standard ones on..
