I'm off to Germany at 3 am tomorrow for a few days.

Plan is to go round the Nurmbergring in the hire car, its either a Golf, Focus or 1 Series () and visit the Porsche musuem whilst we're over there.

I'm hoping my brother drives the car carefully as it was me that booked it

Providing the car rolls back in to the airport hire place in the condition we picked it up in I'll be happy!

Hugs.

I was going to go home from work and pop down but I lost motivation and I'm quite busy at work for once.

Started raining the day after we had been around. It was cold and a bit windy when we went around but dry.

Couple of accidents, guy fell off his bike, he was ok but his bike wasn't. A 911 suffered rear arch damage, as did a new UK 350Z, which was still parked up the following day.

Which Porsche Museum were you going to? The one in Stuttgart? That's a big old trek down from the Ring

In Stuttgart stayed at Motel One.

In Nurburg stayed in Hotel Zur Burg.

Visited, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Hockenheim, Nurburg and Koblenz.

There was a Renault owners day on at Hockenheim which was free to get in, wandered around the pits. Wasn't just Renaults, there were 911's, an Astra, M3's, Skylines etc.

Yeah, did the Porsche and Mercedes musuems.

Landed in Frankfurt, drove down to Stuttgart, visited Mannheim on route. Visited Hockenheim on way back up and after Nurburg went to Koblenz then back to Frankfurt.

Is that the one with the painting on the side of the building? On the main road?

What did you think of the place? I suppose going in winter you can't get to soak up the full atmosphere.

No, didn't have a painting on the side. It was just down the road from the castle.

Reminded me a bit like the Isle of Man in that its just hotels and people there for one purpose! Apart from the track and test units theres not a lot there!
