Went to look at a Silver Astra SRI 150PS CDTI Sport Hatch with XP today and ended up coming away with it.

Loads of pulling power and still returned 53.4 MPG on the motorway run back.

Pics will follow later tonight. It has an Irmscher grill which I am not sure about so anyone with a standard sport hatch grill who fancies a swap get in touch.

for the win..... great cars even better wirth a cheeky remap not far off vxr pace, i'd agree with the grill standard grill colour coded looks good

Great cars.. Had a play with my mate in his 225 S3 the other night. Could sit with him which I'd say makes them pretty much VXR pace when mapped.

Had a play with an S3 in a demo VXR we had at work and there was bugger all in it.

40,000 miles and paid 9k for it from a forecourt. Fuckers wouldn't budge on the price other than a tank of diesel...though but to be fair it is immaculate.

I was dubious of the Sport button but it makes a big difference to how the car accelerates...

What are your thoughts on the tuning box? Does it smoke a lot? Are they ok to live with etc?
