well i dont think i made a thread about buying this, but i am bored so thought i would

swapped the tt with this as it was costing me a fortune insurance at 19 was costing alot! wanted something cheap to run, insure etc.... and this was almost half the price in insurance!

anyway got it like this...

95k 04 plate, black .... errr what more is there to say!

since then ive wound it down on kw coilovers and a leon cupra r splitter......

plans are to get some bbs ch's

oh and ive already had it remaped to 170bhp and 290lb/ft so its almost the same sorta power as my old cupra really!

its a great car, my best 'all round' car ive owned out of the corsa, 106gti, ibiza cupra, audi a4, audi tt (had quite the collection now for driving 2 years!)

oh also i want the front chrome grill going black colour coded when i get the door handles done as i dont like the feel of tacky plastic handles without paint!

yeh i know what you mean ben, i like some angles but others look ugly as sin! but i needed rid of the tt and this was a great swap, they seem to keep their value too! it will do me for a while, until im in a better job and can insure more cars, the tt was the maximum i could insure tbh! ill prob get a evo or something similar in 2 years

My mate has one of these, we took it to RS Tuning to get remapped. Its a great little car, very quick and pulls like a trail!

Sump is majorly close to the floor when decked on the coilys.

How much and where did you get the KW's from dude?

always thought this myself - They are quite nippy but they should be in such a small car

Apart from the engine - which to be fair is not the best anyway I cannot see the attraction

You like it though and thats the main thing - love the wheel plans

I really like them. Just a bit above my price range unfortunately. Id only have one for a cruiser though, wouldnt bother fiddling with the engine.
