My Mums car has always been insured in my Dads name. Last year before he died he got Mum on her own policy for £600 fully comp. Therefore come renewal time, she has 1NCB, a clean full licese for 10 years but the quotes are coming in no less then £900.
Anyone got any advice on how we can get this down for her? I tend to drive the car more than her back and forth to Wales where she has a holiday home and still does well under 3k a year. Last year did 500 miles beween MOTs. I've done around 1000 miles in the car since June when my car had a dodgy rad.
I've set excess up to £400 and miles to 2k per year but can't get anything under £900.
