i know its a vaux forum but i was just wondering if anyone knows how east it is to convert an a3 1.8 20v non turbo to a 1.8t is it a straight swap or?

iirc you'll need the dials from a 1.8t for it to work as the non 20v dials work work on it for some reason

on some 20vt's the imobiliser is built into the dash clocks but i think you can get the ecu re coded now.

why not sell and buy a 1.8t? or get a s3

was going to be and also a ukmkivs meet today but the car threw the second coil in a month, not happy, replacing them all tomorow, also i have found a boost leak which has been knocking the car into limp, fixing that on wednesday, woooo then it should run right, wonder if i could keep up with the s3 now im stage 2
