I'e seen a few done on here, was just wondering how people did it? I thought everyone re- covered them but noticed some have been painted/dyed.

I've got a roof lining today to do it, what's the best thing to use? Just normal matt spray paint or some special rabric paint etc?

Cheers Carl.

Spraying it looks ok, but goes kinda crispy, but then again, does not matter on roof

I sprayed mine, took about 4 or 5 cans to get a decent coverage that didnt look streaky or patchy.

the pillars were a pain as the shapes arent the easiest, but the headling wasnt too bad.

currently doing my doorcard inserts for the front too (rears have carbon doorcards now)

re-trims are easy also :

Use a nice DRY glue, and take you're time.

change white to black

Haha that looks awesome, would be harder with a thinner black material though I reckon!

Mine was re-trimmed in black alcantara.

Someone on here did dye theirs but IIRC they had issues with consistency of colour across the whole piece.

Ive done a couple of repairs to it whilst swapping it from car to car but nothing that careful use of spray glue didnt solve.

Mine's the sunroof model mate, you reckon it would be more difficult? How did you go on with not getting any creases in it etc??

ideally, get one of your mates round, some decent spray glue, cover the liner in glue, cover the material in glue, lay it on, work from the middle outwards (50/50) do a side at a time but work fast. i did mine in 20-30 mins but its a huge improvement

its not a corsa though is far from just flat!

did the visors too

ebay for material, although proper alcantara is £60 per meter
