Is find me a car with the following out the box:

1. No older than 53/54 registration;
2. Astra/focus size so no small cars or big barges;
3. "quick" (I'm not arsed about balls out quick);
4. reliable;
5. decent spec;
6. RWD/FWD doesn't matter;
7. Diesel/Petrol doesn't matter as long as it not less than average 20MPG mixed driving; and
8. not ridiculous on tax.

Budget is 8.5k max and I don't want anything with moon miles...so say around 50,000 miles maximum...

I am stuck for ideas as ideally I want a VXR Astra but the budget wont stretch.

I sold my old one for 8.5k (i think) 2 years ago, low mileage, xenons, mint condition, decent ones have hardly dropped at all since then from what I'm looking at, they were supposed to be about to take a nose dive back then, part of the reason I got rid.

They make total sense. The only thing that is holding me back going for one is they dont look aggressive enough.

mg zs180 guy in my steet has one and its quite nice actually with evo spoiler
mitsubishi evo 6
impreza sti chavvy though

in my opinion id buy 5k astra gsi and do my bike licence and nearly enough left over for licence fees and a ducati 748

in fact i did do that lol
