Had a look at the discs on the Impreza.... oh dear. Good job we towed that car home from the last trackday, as the brakes felt warped but there were no visable cracks at the track (must have happened when cooling)! 2 cracks clean through the O/S disc, and 1 on the N/S.

Front Brake spec
Standard discs using STi 4pots, Carbotech XP8's and a brake MS booster






Need to look into going bigger I think Snetterton would have done the damage, and Crail just pushed them over the edge.

brakig from about 140 time and time again would have been the culprit

do you mean to start with, or were they 'worn'

Didnt measure them with verniers last time I changed the pads, but there wasnt any significant lips on the edges so didnt assume they were outside tolerences.

replaced with 335mm 6 pots
