Just wandering how much bhp I could get out of my 1.6 sport. has anybody on here got more than 130bhp for less than £500 say?
I've currently got a good cold air feed, with a K&N. Future plans will include, a Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold, a decat/full Stainless steel exhaust & a different inlet manifold (powerbox) just want to know what my bhp I would be looking at with above mods? and also what other bits could i do for under £500. i'm after around 140bhp.

I don't want to go the whole hog with cams, T'Bs etc as i'm dropping a bigger engine in next year.

Thanks

Remove the K&N and refit original airbox, derestrict first, tells you how to do it in the tutorials on this site, keep the cold air feed too, give it better breathing, hope this helps!!

All of the above would be a good start, i have just bought a inlet for mine and gonna do a 4-2-1 manifold in the next few weeks.

With a good remap i reckon you will be on par for 130-140bhp possibly
