Take a drive down to Oxford and bung one of the factory workers a few quid to take one from the car park out the back!

My mate recently bought one for £2.3k.. It was a ghastly yellow colour and it had been to the moon and back. Sold it for over £3k.

The first ones were a 1.6. '07 onwards were 1.4 i believe, and the they are slow as fuck.

You will struggle to get a decent one under 4k, and even at salvage auctions they wont drop below 3k. Best advice is bite the bullet and buy one outright, parts to repair them with cost a fortune anyway.

I thought the 1.4's were alright, learnt to drive in one, drove it after I passed a few times too (mate of mine)
