been thinking about getting a brand new Octavia vRS, we have the 07 diesel one at moment but thought about part ex for a brand new petrol one with dsg etc. However, i just found this....

Octavia vRS to an RS6 is a nice leap. mmm low mileage. I'd take into account running costs though, they are a fortune etc... Looks ace though.

A new octavia is a 6 years newer in any mans language, will cost considerably less to run over a 3 year period when the RS6 is 9 years old.

Totally depends what you're looking for.

I know a foreman who has one and its upsetting how much these cost to run. I remeber him saying he didnt have much change from 3k when he had to replace the fancy dampers on it

Is it a pre facelift limited edition?

I wouldn't swap yours for that, would have to be a facelift, an 07 diesel will probably be worth the same as an 09 facelift petrol in 3 years time.

Not sure John, website doesnt have much info on it to be honest. Wheels put me off straight away tho. Our diesel is a great car, but the warranty is about to run out and along with mot costs and a few minor issues thats whats making me think about getting another new car. 20k max budget, however for an RS6 id go higher, plus it would be doing max 15 miles a day. At the very most
