looks alright as a base for a project, don't know what to say about MOT really, I'd want to buy it with a couple of months at least really.
Just looked in classifieds and heres an R reg sport for £300... albeit with no tax/test

350 is a bit too much, I'd pay £300 max if it would definitely pass an mot. Thinking about it, I wouldn't pay 300, i'd want that for £100.

Will it go through its next mot okay? My guess is no.

You could end up buying a car that will run for a month, then you'll have to spend £100-150 to put it through its next mot.

You could always get it checked over by a garage and see what they think...

I'd tell him £300 with a tank of fuel, obviously he won't take it but he's probably not going to get a better offer and may want to reconsider

I'd get someone who knows what they're doing to look over it and make sure it'll pass the MOT, otherwise walk away.
