my corsa sport 3dr 1997

right am getting a new alarm fitted tomorrow and want rid of the key holes in my front door handles so going for corsa "5 door rear handles.. fitted in my front doors insted (no locks on!)

is this a hard job to do?? as i've never done this before

al still have my boot lock just want rid of door locks and door pins so no thiefing backstabssss can get in!!

its a cobra alarm...got anti tilt and the full works

and is ment to bump your insurance down a tad because its an imobliser upgrade and so on.......and you get a slip to send off to the insurance

You'll only get a installation certificate if it's installed by a professional company.

Swapping the handles over isn't a difficult job it's just a bit fiddly.

cheers yes its getting fitted by my local pro's!

they have told me it will save on my insuance with the certificate after fittment
i will have full proof that they fitted it so should be good for next years qwote

so are the handles not a case of take the old ones off and putting my new ones on? bar al not have locks etc

dont get your hope too high, as not all insurance companies will lower it, and if they do, it wont be much at all


but having a good alarm is defo worth having weather it drop's insurance or not

The handles need new backing plates aswell dude
