Just bin for a test drive in a golf R32 and im in love (for now ) the noise is just sexual even though i never really got to put my foot down because of the sales bloke in the car (he didnt tell me i couldnt i just didnt feel right nailing it while he was in).

the only time i did put my foot down i was ever so slightly expecting more but then again im used to the kick from a tdi although it does feel stupidly powerful and sooo smooth and oh did i mention the noise

but the depressing part is getting back into my car for the drive home sooooo wish i could afford one althought i know the sensible part of me would miss the mpg but i would never ever ever tire of the noise

Surprised he agreed to it in that case

I like them, there nice cars. Mk4 looks better & has some nice extras fitted. Mk5's not been as big an effort to make feel special. But is still nice.

theyre all about the noise. on the other hand they have tuning potential. Same with vr6 12v engine theyre nothing special standard but bolt something onto it and theyre ok

Nic: It probably is but for 20mins and considering the step up from mine to it, it felt epic plus the noise it makes just makes me sexwee a little.

Colin: and me but meh cant complain, supposed to be having a test drive in a mini tomorrow but dont think ill be going for that now

FLOL matt.

R32 is nice car. Prefer the GTi Edition 30 myself. Our computer tech guy at work just got one - fucking lovely and I'm sure it'd be quicker than an R32 without all that weight up front.

Try driving a 120d up to Leeds and back (about 260 miles all in) getting really settled in 1 morning, then getting back in a 12v shit box Corsa

What makes it worse is the 120d is sitting on the drive and doesn't get used hardly in the week
