Absolute state it is, fit a glovebox a mfd and a rev counter to it as well as fixing a new bush to the gear linkage then realised it had no water in it... or oil... and the engine bay looked kinda brown...
Put a litre of oil in it and topped the water up and its drinking it (slowly) and coming out the exhaust a bit...
After a 10min test drive i popped the bonnet again and the thing is fizzing water out the head.... headgasket right?
Rough price to get it fixed?
He has just spend £280 getting it through its MOT and is paying me for sorting him out with those parts ^^

if it is the headgasket what has gone then the chances are it will cost more to fix it than the car is worth
