Oh yeah, didn't notice that, Ed Whoops

Been to Screwfix and Focus, neither of which sell Tigerseal, and got confused at the variety of adhesives available so return home with just a copy of TV and some cash that didn't get spent.

You get Tiger Seal from Motorfactors. They might even do it in Halfords. It doesn't have to say Tiger Seal on the tin, so long as it's PU Adhesive, and you probably want it in black too.

Yeah, I was looking for black but everything was white/beige There was one that looked like it was clear or something.

Ahh, I didn't know you could get it from there. I think the local motor factors has shut for today, half 12 or something on Saturdays. Might go up to Halfords after tea if there's nothing else to do.

There were also non-solvent ones, what makes them different apart from the obvious?

They'll be water based or 2k (have a hardener/activator). Basically solvent based adhesives, paints and other kinds of chemicals are being phased out to more environmentally friendly alternatives. If it says it'll stick plastic then you'll have no problems with it.

As long as you have it properly clamped you should be fine. Its not just a case of sticking it on and leaving it to set

I can't really clamp it but I will do the screws up on it which will hold it down in the corners. Should that do the trick?

put some masking tape around it too, decent stuff with a high tack.

Do not use gaffa tape though ! goodbye paint !

The screws will hold it down but only in the areas its screwed. Im pretty sure that as standard the spoilers came with a double sided tape to stick around the tailgate , but I imagine you will no loner have this.

It does have the double sided tape stuff but it's a bit mashed up in places. Accidentally broke one of the screws off, hence the bonding

Ed - I think I know the ones you mean, they look kind of like G-cramps but they're not

Screwfix sell a few brands so thought it would be worth a look, seeing as it's literally across the road from Focus Turned out it's pretty much the same range, but a bit cheaper
