Thinking of changing mine. I don't know if it needs doing. But I would rather a new one.

My dad might be able to do it.. not sure.. he has changed one on a vauxhall cavalier years ago... but my corsa sport is abit difference.

How much is a cambelt.. and how much roughly would a garage charge to change it.

also, is it a tricky job to change?

Thanks

Personally I'd let a garage do something like that, it's one of those jobs you don't want to get wrong

Change the pulley and tensioner as well as the water pump. There is no point putting a new belt on and with a worn out pulley or tensioner, it will cause just as much damage as a snapped belt

Not a job I'd be doing if I didn't know what to do, good way to learn though but still, I'd be taking it to a garage. You fuck it up and it's bye bye engine.
