Spent today giving the VXR a good clean including removing all the wheels and cleaning inside the rims.
Weapons of choice were on the body were Dodo Juice Need For Speed, Dodo Juice Banana Armour, the wheels were sealed with Poor Boys Wheel Sealant and the tyres dressed with Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tyre Protection.
Big thanks to Rich H for the Dodo Juice bits and advice, was a pleasure to use the hard wax for the 1st time & so easy

only thing i'd change are getting rid of the chrome window strip, possibly paint it satin black.

but nevertheless, awesome cars. best colour for a normal vxr too!

Do agree but over here (in NI), everyone has those wheels the standards look different from the crowd.

the ones above look to thin for the boldness of the vxr shape, the ones in the first post look way better imo, suite it down to the ground..

Current plans are to replace the front brake pads after I was abit too keen on the GP circuit at Nürburgring
Eventually it may get lowered and the RARB, along with an exhaust and remap.
But for now i'm just enjoying driving a new car

I must admit, I used to say they didn't look right without the 19's but we have a couple at work now on the 18's and think they look alot better now.

I prefer them too. Plus as has been said most of them about are on the 19s so it's nice to be a little different

i have the 19's and am looking for a set of 18's.

they may look good but teh astras dont like corners to begin with and the 19's dont help.

Spot on Andy - looks ace

Now when you wash it, just dry it and apply another coat of wax, once a week for the next month or so, will be so easy to keep on top of then

That's really nice mate, Arden Blue all the way

Quick question for Rich - if I'm giving my car a good clean I wash it, polish it (NFS) then wax it, is the polishing not necessary?

Gorgeous and perfect, wait until you get that RARB and springs on it.

Courtenay now sell the DAP springs and are in stock for £180, Warren can fit them as well.

Treat yourself
