General opinion?
I really fancy one. Only decent one I can find is 2k though. I just think of it as a car and I can make the money back if I sell it on. It's just an initial outlay.

Pointless imho, unless you can easily make a car dateless, but then that is a bit pointless tbh.
Pain in the arse if the car is stolen and/or written off too.

I had a cheapo £250 one with my initials. Liked having it to hide the age of the car but ended up being a pain in the arse when I had an accident. For the hassle, I'm not that fussed and wouldn't have one again unless it was a present from someone.
Maybe less pointless if you can sell it on again later, so long as is actually going to be worth the same in the future.
Is that a private sale for 2k?

If you like it go for it.
I'm not in to personal plates that have more than one number though unless the numbers form part of a word, dont look like personalised plates if they have more than one number.

Mates taking the mick i added value though, Mine used to rip me about mine, it's all part of the fun. There are a pain in the arse when changing cars etc though. I'm trying to sell mine while I don't have a car worth having it on.

Found one I like more
https://www.regtransfers.co.uk/main/secureordering/orderregmark.asp?web=1&searchpage=SearchResultsPage&searchtype=2®no=G18%20SBO®price=344&index=1&st=&plateid=0&criteria=g18sbo
G1 ASBO (Mates call me G instead of Graham)
But would still have to space illegally which I don't know if it would be hassle. Much more sensible price that though.

My plate always makes any car I put it on look instantly better imo, well worth the money if you get a decent one that doesn't need black bits stuck everywhere to spell something.
Buy direct from DVLA if they have the plate.
