Nice!

The Astra handles really well, looks like it almost oversteers more than it understeers...

Not exactly standard though

Just needs a bit more power and it'd do sub 9s.

How did you get out there with the camera mounted???

cool

why do they even bother stopping people

Looking at this trip's pics etc makes me wish I could go again when it's dry, but quiet.

I was out on this lap as well, I love the car it's scary but not so scary that you want to get out. I enjoy the laps in the Astra more than other cars for some reason.

I think if that bike hadn't held you up at the start you could shave off another 5 seconds.

Few questionable gearshifts early on fella And needed a downshift the corner before the carosel (?sp), but your wide in most corners, and hit the apex most corners too which is correct. You had some adjustments mid corner too which really knocks a few mph off the exit speeds.

Can't comment on how late your braking, dunno if you were getting fade or not, but if not and theres more braking availble, I can see a 9.20 flat on the cards. Get that fat bastard next to you out the car though

I'd say the over-stear is more due to no less weight in the back? I found my corsa had this as its lighter and poor weight distribution. In fact, get willay strapped down in the back Good effort that, slightly more to come, not too much, but deffo more there Good lap though.

yeah the downshift before the karassel was needed, prob is 2nd is to high and 3rd is to low for the exit

sorry i forgot to mention i was abbley assisted by ojc, he's like the lucky charm of quickish laps

its not perfect by any means, but as i have only had one session at combe before driving the car at the ring its still a learning process
