Finally got the new pics of my car now with RS2000 style sideskirts.

Think a new grill might be next. But being a skint student means it may be a while.

Cheers,

Pete

It is a nice gti. Very clean and original plate! The guy who sold him it didnt know the plate read that.

Its down 60mm gmax shocks and springs on et49 15's with 195/45.

As for bigger wheels, I chose 15's cause I wanted 15s.

I didnt want to go the big rims and mad kit route. Small rims, slammed.

I dont live on a farm. Thats just where me and my mate drove to take the pics.

Cheers for your comments,

Pete

I get rubbin at the front when I hit bumps or use alot of lock with a passenger.

As for the rear, it has never rubbed even with 3 in the back.

Only arch mods i've done is taken a couple of front arch bolts out.

The ride is ok. Bit bumpy on bad roads.

Have to go quite slow on bad roads and country roads.

Also have to watch out for places my splitter will hit the ground. It already has a hole in it and catch it quite often.

What front do ya reckon vibrio?

Its just its so low even with standard bumper. Dont want to take chunks out of bumpers.

GSi, Reiger or Airdam?

Cheers,

Pete

Came off a corsa so dont know the background info on the skirts.

I'm not gettin it colour coded until I get a respray (long way off yet).
Before respray I need front and rear bumpers sorted, spoiler extension (saxo or something more original).

If I colour coded it now it would be all patchy. New red and faded red.

Pete if you take your car to a decent bodyshop to get it colour coded you are looking at about £200.

I was quotes £250 for
Colour coded tops of front and rear bumpers, arches, wing mirrors, door and boot handles, scuttle plate, roof bars and to mesh up my front grill.

I am sure I could beat that price somewhere else.

Looking good BTW, nice and low is how I like it.

Mine is dropping 60mm on Pi shocks and GMax springs.........good for £85 second hand. On TSW Evo R's, should looks pretty sweet. Then got spoiler to go on from SRi and colour coding to get done then we will be flying,
