had all my wheels refurbished last week as they looked awful all kerbed and stone chipped...

now 1 week later, thought i'd treat my missus to a nice meal out as i haven't seen her much due to doing too much work.

just my luck that as i exit the multi story car park i caught the passenger rear wheel on a kerb and scratch the spokes

is it just me that tries to do something nice for someone and ends up getting shit happen to me?

i was forced into a kerb by someone on the wrong side of the road on a right hand bend, just after having mine re diamond cut, luckily the tyre rim potector did its job and only a small chip out the wheel.
Shit just happens from time to time, pain in the arse though

Our multistory at work is stupidly tight. i caught the civics wheel once or twice. Didnt help that it had the turning circle of a ship

this was the brewery multi story in romford. went really slow up there and came down slow, then just lost concentration for a second or so and that was it

only got them refurbed so i could get rid of the car easier.

Yep, same here. Did a mate a favour by taking her to collect her car after it had a new exhaust fitted.
I reversed into a space nearby and some twat turned into the next space taking my wing mirror off whilst I went inside, then drove off

Put a small scratch on one of mine when putting in air. Not bad for 50,000 miles

TBH that was more your bad driving than the fact you were doing something nice for someone.

Luckily not kerbed a wheel for years, had my speedlines 6 years and never kerbed them and not had any mishaps in my current car since I had it.

I was really bad for hitting kerbs when I first passed though, destroyed my Nova 3 spokes

not really though was it doing less than 1mph down a spiraling exit route. just happened to catch the rear wheel, must have stuck out a bit.
