Hi,
My mate at work needs some wheels, and i have got some lying arround, BUT i dont know if they are going to fit as he has a polo

Im not sure what offset they are, as i havent looked yet (not at my house) but i know they fit my corsa, so i am guessing they are 42-45 offset? If thats right.

Now from looking on some website, the polo takes 32-38 offset wheels. Is that right?

If for example the wheels were a 42 offset, could they go onto the polo at all? Or is it dangerous etc etc etc etc

Suppose so, he only need them for a motorway journey, which makes it worse!

Offsets were invented by the internet. Basically, you're never going to know unless you have: 1 - the exact dimensions of the wheels with tyre on, or the more simple option 2 - just try them on and see what they're like.

I'd go with number 2.

the TD rims? may need to use some spacers to push em out a bit and longer alloy wheel bolts, dont use standard steely nuts
