Ive just bought a 1.0 12v as mt first car, and for its age was in a great condition.

as for reliability can really say for 100% yet, as i have just got it..

but they are very popular first cars 1.0.
so surely must be decent runners for people to buy them time and time again matey.

Engine wise, we've had no probs at all in the 6 years the car has been in my family so I'd say very realiable. Depends how its been treated.

had a 1.0 in the family for nearly a year and it's been faultless. I also had a 1.5td and it's the better out of that and a 1.0 for sure, I had a pretty much immaculate S reg so they are out there, just quite rare!

had 1.0 12v for 12k miles that was used and abused hard ( usually on outside lane on motorway) and except for dodgy sparkplug had no problems
