hey all im just wondering what is the easiest way of getting filler of excisting body work to be re-done??? im using a hamer and a chisel atm but its gonna take me ages to do it so if anyone has any good ideas on how of doing this let me no asap plz cheers

Have it blasted. Soda blasting may do the job.

if the body filler is solid underneath is it right i dont have to remove it i can just get away with just skiming it over again ???

All depends mate it could crack in future undoing all your hard work its better to remove it all and start again

Ideally a planarary sander and p80 disk! That will get it quickly. A angle grinder would work but risk causing other damage to the panel! But chisel is not a gd move! May aswell take it out while ur at it!

yh im removing it all now just going up to were there isnet any dents or crack then ill go off that to find my level of filler, ill do it in the end

Just make sure u key up much more of an area than u need to fill and best off filling just over metal!

geta soft pad disc on a grinder this will remove all the old filler a lot quicker than a p80 disc takign the panel back to the metal which is a better starting point to start pulling the dents out plus filler bonds better to metal than old paint etc
