right just a bit of background information on them really, tt is up for sale as i just cant afford it with 200 quid pm insurance!
offered a swap with one.... anyone owned one? plans would be to get it remapped then just lower it some more on the kw coilovers it has....
bit boring but good mpg and cheap insurance what do you think?

i like them, pull really strong every gear.
door rubbers leak or something leak on them in the back. can remember if it was only a certain year. will try and find out more. all in all, nice looking cars

as long as the map isn't aggressive, the clutch will be fine with a map (obv driving style will decide that). Good cars for the money. Dads got one, I would have one too if the insurance wasn't so high for me at the mo

Great cars, as said, as long as you don't get a stupidly aggressive map the clutch doesn't do too bad.
2004 model is right at the very start, I'm also assuming high miles?
All the doors let water in, back normally fails first, happens to everything with a polo or golf chassis, bad design. Easy fix with a tube of silicone although it's possibly been in for it before under warranty, Skoda replaced my carpet when it happened to mine but that's not really necessary.

Yeah had this vrs about 4 months ago from a dealer with 8.5k miles on the clock. Would love a petrol vrs octavia...

why? no more turbos pop when mapped than standard! They pop easily if you try and put 200bhp through them though!
