nic's corsa is 500+bhp FWD , and that manages to do 1/4 mile in the 11 secs.

Absolute win if you want to surprise people, considering the cars that it would apply to.

Negatives being that the money could be spent to get a 'better' base car up to mid-level spec. Just depends on personal preference.

You can put the power down easy enough if you spend the cash, my mate civic was pretty close to 450 and put the power down easy enough.

Hmmmm i wasnt expecting such positive replies.

Basically, my mate has a 400bhp Civic and constantly gets people saying '400bhp is impossible to put through a FWD chassis etc etc'. I can tell you that is a load of balls. Unbelievably fast. Both on straights and in bends.

Obviously it's fine. People that say things like that only watch top gear and think anything with more than 250bhp through the front wheels is mental. It's not like it's full throttle all the time, as long as you slow down for the corners and aren't flooring it everywhere it's going to be fine.
