would i get away with just putting the back pipe on my 1.0l 12 corsa, if the exhayst years match up?

All 12v Corsas are post-97 and have a smaller diameter than all the other engines so you need to get one off of another 12v ideally.

For clarification though, are you looking to change your standard backbox for another standard one? It's not quite clear what you're asking.
