Stopped the other day at one of these.
Was a survey on your travels, where you go, how often, any passengers etc. It wasn't for the police it was a survey for the local council to determine their growth areas. But they get the police to stop random vehicles and they come over and ask the questions. Was all anonymous.
Made me half hour late for work mind.
