Went to the 1/4 mile strip just over a week ago. It was Bishopscourt in Northern Ireland. My Astra is completly standard apart from being lowered 60mm on shocks and springs. It also has 140k on the clock lol

The Astra weighs 1000kg and uses the 20xe and f20 box, so is very similar to a red top corsa.

So I was expecting maybe a high 15, low 16 sort of time, but actually came away with a 15.3! Also got a few 15.4s, and I let my mate take it up and he got a 16.6

I was the slowest car of the day though , but not by much.

Not bad times for a car with 140k on the clock, its pretty old to but a classic, can't beat old vaux.

Some serious cars there also.
r32 made that evo look like it was doing 30mph.

Did they give you one on your slip?

My time and speed were f*cking dire in the RS

Didn't get any grip at all until third gear and approx the 1/8th mile point
