i have a corsa b with a 1.4 sport engine in i am lookin to get a bigger engine put in any ideas? nothing like a z-let maybe in the region of a 1.8 sri corsa c engine is this possible and what would be needed? thanks

If you want a 1.8 then you can get an X18XE1 put in fairly easily, it's less work than a C20XE plus is a newer engine. the Z18XE (out of the Corsa C SRi) is practically the same but you need to change some bits to do with the throttle etc as it uses an electronic one as opposed to cable.

The C20XE has indeed been tried and tested, but at the end of the day is still about 20 years old.
