It's dangerous because if he was driving down the motorway at 70mph and the tennis balls were to spring out he's most likely lose control of the car.

but there is a spring in there he could of done it so it stiffens the spring up to stop it squeeking or something

There are a couple of coils, I wouldn't call that a spring.

It's still in the place of a spring though, as the spring was fucked.

well i see a spring in that pic, and ifhe done this to stiffen up the suspension, dont see how it is dangerous..

and the -100mm rear sprins on corsa's look pretty much the same..
