Im thinking about putting 17s on the car for some events to give me a higher top end but not sure if they will bolt on or if the arches need modified.

Pics and info would be great thanks.

surely you won't be hitting the limiter in 5th on a rally?
I just cut the arch bolts and there was not really any problems unless there was people in the back, but you don't have that problem.

Limiter in 5th 109mph with the Quaife gearkit, with the 6 speed sequential it 93mph on 15s or i can change the final drive in the box just seeing what the options are.

I use this site for working out speeds.

You need your ratios though.

Obviously compare 15" wheel and 17" wheels sizes and see if its worth it.

i lowered my corsa b 40mm on 17" and it used to scrub the rear tyres..

i honestly can not rememeber the offsets but it was the ones you need for corsa b's??

it wasnt BAD... just rubbed a tad on rear plastic arches but i hadnt done any arch work at all

but if you fit 17" alloys take all the nuts and bolts off the rear arch and bond them on with tiger seal are they will eat the edge of the tyre..
