it dint even work as the cross member crushed it/ mashed it up was pointless!! as u will see when i upload the next bunch of pics from todays work

today my girl friend and i have managed to get the front and rear bumper off ready for repair wheels are off for refurb new door bought and fitted, require some force to get it off and the new one fitted up, have stripped the old door of its ew ect.. ready to fit in the non ew door. Also lights removed new hand brake cable arrived as old one were snapped and by the looks of it some time too.... Gf has aslo modded the steering wheel with the VXR stickers
car looking a bit bare now but well on the way to recovery

its a good match but bit of a bumer that its a non ew but thats minor half hour to swap the door guts
I will prob end up spraying it as most of the car is gonna be redone not happy with the paint...

Bugger me they've abused that alright! I vaguely remember it from when I first signed up to CS I think when it was in immaculate condition lol.

Good to see how much progress you've made already though!

Time for another update

not a great deal has happened in the last few weeks

buffed the whole car managed to get alot of the scuffs out but think its gonna be best to to respray it...

the wheels have been rubbed down ready for powdercoating

the bumpers have been repair

swapped a few things round with one of my other corsas bonnect and grill...

little unsure what colour to do the wheels... gun metal?? black? silver? (some feed back their please)

ermm what else

bought me a rare set of rear lights for a tenner!!!!(see pics) top bargin hunter haha

25.11.09 Update

The car has been sprayed... but will need to go back to the spray shop as im not quite happy with the finish being fussy.. but hey
Really need a Speedline centre cap so if anyone selling one or knows of any one selling one point my way

the pics aint the best and the rear wheels havent been fitted yet but its gettin their 75% now

cant stand badboy bonnets and angel eyes, but that looks very nice

i think the rear needs a few changes though to match how good the front is..

ie, semi smooth boot, and 3" outrolled backbox..

keep it up

Yeah i was thinking the same the back is bit plane.... was thinking bad boy boot with the semi smooth boot wanna get mud flaps u seen the opel ones think it will set it off nicely but people say no to mud flaps... hmmm
