Hi, so... I have a matt black roof on my car, what's the best way to clean it?

First time, I polished it like the rest of the car but it came out crap and left kinda white marks everywhere! Same with my rear lights as they've been done with tinting spray. Is there a decent product to use?

If I was to spray lacquer on there myself, am I'm gonna fuck it up lol?

It won't be matt if you polish it or lacquer it The idea of matt paint is that it is is dull, not shiny. Clean it with soap and water.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I know, I don't really want it to be matt, it was just like that when I bought it!

Then have it repainted in gloss. If you do it yourself and you aren't a professional or have the correct paint prep bay and filtration system then it will turn out to be like a dog's dinner.

Was it with whatever you use and then get a rag with wd40 on it and wipe over.
