Cam pulleys that allow you to fine tune your cams. They allow you to turn the cams without moving the pulley a whole tooth, meaning you can tune it very finely (down to half a degree or something, instead of it jumping a full tooth). That's my understanding of it anyway.

if you got aftermarket cams and want them set up right, then yes
