Is this too close to the edge to repair do you think?

Its to close to be repaired to BSAU standard.. But it can be repaired, just a case of finding someone who'll do it.

225/40/18 Michelin Pilot Exalto.

Dont think I'll be able to get them though cos when I changed the fronts I had to get Pilot Sports as they reckon they dont do Exaltos anymore. I will be buying 2 aswell cos I'm not running round with odd tyres

Its going down very slowly, pumped it back up to pressure and its only gone down 2 PSI in just over half an hour. So I'm gonna pump it again in the morning and drive it carefully the 15 miles to the garage.

Read too many people on the audi forums having mishaps with the supplied car jack and bending the sills

I really dont know, its quite scary cos the last time I used it was Friday night and I was driving pretty quick on the last few miles towards my house. With the tyre like that I guess aswell, could of had a blow out

I dont need to. Its only 25 mins to where I need to be and its only losing 2 PSI in that sort of time.

That foam stuff just makes a shitty mess anyway from what I've heard

Yeah but that's when it's not moving. When the tyre is flexing all around when you're going along I'd have thought it would lose pressure quicker.
