So, ive just fooking noticed that the insides of my front tyres are dead, one is bald, the other is starting to show thread

Obviously i need some new ones but 2 questions

How dangerous is it to drive on them, esp motorways, need to go to manchester on sat

If i got stopped and the police checked them, what kind of thing will they give me, points, fine etc etc?

I really really really dont want to drive it now, am going to see if i can get some new ones 2moro, only thing is i need 195/40/16, which most places dont seem to have!

Could always borrow my brothers wheels for the day, but then he would be left with my tyres

Im seriously pissed off that i let them get this bad £150 worth of tyres gone in 5000 miles or less!

Although you cant get more than one FPN at a time, so you'd get summonsed to court, which is extra stress and costs than just being pulled and given a ticket

Won't be dangerous to drive on, unless cords are showing, just be careful if it rains. Chance you take with Police.

don't risk it. theres alwyas a chance the weather will change or you'll need to do some emergency braking on the motorway.

get them changed tomorrow.

mine still had 2mm of tread on them and they felt deadly.

If he risks it and gets into any sort of crash, or stopped, or god forbid, mullers some poor cunt on the road he is going to get ass raped by the law..... never mind his own conscious (sp?)

Change them.

Tbh, they should have never had got that bad in the first place and should have been changed ages ago.

In all honesty you shouldn't be driving on them full stop and should get a mobile fitter out to change them, but your still drive on them no doubt possible endangering the lives of everybody you pass on the road.

Its not just the police you have to worry about, if you have an accident and someone is injured or killed you could be right up shit street even if its not 'technically' your fault.

Dont be a twat, change the tyres or find some steelies you can borrow.

I got pulled and got 3 points and a £60 fine, just the fine would have been enough but it was the points that knobbed me off because i was in the first 3 years.

I get them changed just to be safe, your gonna need them changed anyway so save yourself the hassle and the money

Also one was show a little thread and the policeman said if i was attempting to drive on the motorway etc it could have been potentially fatal, nice wake up call tbh
