The kelvin rating is the colour, there is no set colour temperature but you aren't allowed blue on the front of your car, 8k is getting a bit too blue and asking to be pulled, especially since they are illegal apart from that.

also hijacked, i have ABM angel eyes, which bulb is the main bulb as im looking for a set of these, and i heard you muts have headlight washers for them to be legal

i payed £60 for mine 2 year ago, and they are still going strong since i sold them and have been in 3 differeant cars since owning them.

The headlights have to be the projector style ones, they must be self levelling, and have headlight washer jets!

Mine had none of the above and I never had any problems with police or MOTs

I know lots of people that have passed MOT and been ignored by police but thats the law iirc

Thats rather expensive. You should of looked in classified at the HID group buy for slim ballast kits

I got 2 6000k kits for £115, 1 main beam bulb blow, so I just replaced both main beam bulbs with 4300k bosch ones anyway
