If youve just read my PISSED OFF thread, you'll know when i bought my car a new egr was plugged in and left dangling.
i was thinking about ripping it all out and blanking it off compleatly.
HOWEVER, ive disconnected my egr and i find it runs a hell of alot better with it on. It has a flatspot between 5-6 with if off.
just like your experiances and opinions cheers.

Did you just disconnect it without blanking it off?
That will cause flats spots and rough idling if you don't blank it.

no you dont.
you may need to blank/weld a hole up on the 4-1 flange though.
brand depending

your thinking of the sai at the front of the engine, if you get a new manifold the yeah bin it all, just leave it plugged in so you dont get an ecu light. the egr valve is under your lower inlet manifold at the back of the engine
