I travel quite alot to and from work and i always pay by card so i can see how much i spend on things (statements etc)...
In April i bought a 1.4 sport (corsa b), this was an upgrade from my 1.0 b and have just worked out the difference in petrol
Give or take a tenner either way i spend roughly £175 on petrol a month in the 1.4 sport... I used to spend roughly £115 doing pretty much the same in the 1.0 12v.
£60 a month extra on petrol

Its worth having the extra power though.
I average 35 the puma over the last few weeks. Pure town driving (90% steady on the speed limit, with some crazy 100mph blats up the bypass

remember petrol prices have gone up a lot from april. so you'll be paying more than 115 quid a month even if you had a 12v still.

1.2 8v's are notoriously bad on fuel.
