front mount fitted, not much more lag if im honest! another 500 revs if that, induction sounds a lot deeper, modified my bumper too, came out ok. modified the forge crash bar too. pics in a bizzle

howd you get on with fitting the cooler lee was it alright? want a fmic for the golf and it looks like forge use the same cores across the board.

yeah wasn't too bad, instructions they send you too are downto the tee, took a bit longer because i was modding the crash bar, pics uploading now

thats the problem with vag scene stuff have to modify the crash bar. think of the safety? have you told insurance company you have to mod crash bar? id imagine it will put premiums up a lot.

forge send you a new one to fit with the cooler dont they, you dont HAVE to modify them i dont think?

Todays work then..... front mount fitting


Decided to modify my crash bar to allow better flow, no point it being blocked off, and the bar has retained its strength as ive only cut a window out

Plate will hide the holes day to day but good to take off for track etc for better cooling.
Drove home and car induction sounds deeper, seems to pull better lower down in higher gears but is probably just my imagination. Lag over old shitmount is minimal, 500revs tops id say, overall very impressed with the quality. Full turbo back system next, then hybrid turbo then put all my other goodies on and get it mapped

comes with mounting brackets and modifye3d recess for boost pipes

turbo back system, 2.5ich all zee way through with decat. sorry MOT. turbo needs to be sent off too, buy new gaskets then fitting it all together and mapping
