Well im not too sure either mate, mine used to rub with 195/45/15 but i know peoples that dont.

Maybe you could change the castor/camber of them to lean in, therefore giving you abit more woom away from the edge.

whats the offset and tyre profile ? Tbh you are best getting coilovers then you can manage the height to where ever. If you cant afford that then just shocks and springs ( Gmax, Jamex ) not the best but better than just springs.

The sticker is 200mm i think

mine were G-max, brilliant for handling but way to hard, even with standard shocks, cracked my windscreen hehe. :/

Sure the tyre profile is 195/45/15
offset is - 45

no to sure what that means in terms of lowering it 60mm to that info, as in if it could be do-able etc?

cheers.

I would say they will scrub bad with that tyre profile / offset lowered 60mm.

40mm will be ok tho

Best bet coilovers or a change of wheel if you want to drop it 60mm

Oh yea mate its do-able. Your best bet is to buy some 60mm springs see how you get on, if they rub, either buy some shocks and dampers that are stiffer, of cut the inner arch, then replace the plastic.

If you are going to lower 40mm i would go for a Gmax kit ( Spring & Shocker ) you can pick these up second hand really cheap

Coilovers - Depends on how deep your pockets are you can pay from £150 - £800 +

Springs like gmax are about £90 at demon tweeks, sure you could find them cheaper.

you can pick up coilover kits now for under £350 new like Jamex (Y)

40mm will still look way to high imo. 60mm is perfect.

If you have the cash buy some alloys with the correct offset and you can lower till it scrubs

Pesonally, i loved the look of my 60mm drop.

It rubbed with people in the back, but i lived with it because it looked good, (and it was an excuse for all the kids round my way no to get in lol).

im getting another corsa on sataday, just sold my mk3 gsi astra, im goin strait out to get some 60mm springs,

Going to be with cesaros.

Do either of you know the profile ofe those btw??
