No idea but in any other type of auction you would need to register first so that you don't do a runner after winning something.
Tried ringing them?

if you like something, do just bid on it the minute it comes out. wait for the bidding to slow
and good luck.

But don't wait to the last second to bid, its not eBay so the bidding can go on all day if needed. I used to work at an auctioneers and it was amazing the amount of people with eBay mentality whose bids got missed because they bidded too late

Cars seem to be doing good money through auctions just now - I've actually been buying cars and putting them through the auctions.

charges vary from one auction house to another so would be worth going in and asking they usually have a sheet with all the final charges for buying on it so you can see goes up depending on the price of car 0-500, 500-1000 ,1000-2000 ect
you dont need to register you just bid and leave a cash deposit again deposit varies in price depending on the cars price
they will take your details when you have bid and deposit straight away at side of rossroom you then get 24 hours to collect and pay outstanding amount
thats how it works at premier and hunslet motor auctions anyway
