Piece of piss to do,
Take your heat shield off, take everything associated with it off and chuck it in the bin.
The make a blanking plate with some metal and bolt it on and use some silicon as sealent.
I used the little gasket as a template and cut some 1.6mm sheet to shape with some tin snips.
Its an easy job.

Its the SAI (Secondary Air Injection) valve, there is an air pump on the right hand side of the engine, when the car is started from cold it forces air into the manifold to help warm up the cat quicker..
It isnt required for emissions in this country.

Ah right, I though that part was all underneath the SAI. Ah well.
So in conclusion rape it out off there

But why is it then that my 1.4 still wouldn't pass emmissions when this was still on!?
